Tamanna Mirza

Tamanna is a Paralegal in the Military Claims department at our Manchester office.

Professional Biography

Tamanna’s main responsibility is to assist our Lawyers. With both an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and LPC (Legal Practice Course), she's fully equipped and deeply driven in her role within our Military team.

She carefully manages each case, ensuring military personnel and veterans get the representation they deserve. She's been crucial in many of our successes, helping our clients secure compensation from the Ministry of Defence in areas such as Medical Negligence, cancer claims and military bullying claims.

Tamanna also has a broad range of experience under her belt. She previously assisted with abuse cases, working on claims against various organisations, such as scout associations, religious groups, health organisations, and educational institutions. This has given her a deep understanding of the details involved in such cases.  Tamanna's work on abuse cases has also taught her a lot about dealing with difficult and detailed legal matters. These skills are very useful in her current job with military claims, helping her understand and manage cases about medical mistakes and bullying in the military better.

Her precision is noteworthy; she has an exceptional ability to pick up on the fine points, a skill she has applied extensively in her work on public inquiries. One of the most significant marks of her career has been her involvement in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry, an intensive investigation into the Horizon IT system's implementation and its consequential failings that unfortunately led to the prosecution of many postmasters. Her involvement in this inquiry is a testament to her ability to handle important matters with precision.
