Michael Abbott

As a Paralegal in our Industrial Disease team, Michael supports our Solicitors on progressing cases and assists in getting clients compensation.

Michael’s day to day role involves making initial content with our clients, completing state benefit applications, drafting relevant documents and taking statements.

Michael specialises in asbestos-related claims for people diagnosed with Mesothelioma, Pleural Thickening, Asbestosis and Lung Cancer. He also has significant knowledge of the state benefit application process and can offer advice on Personal Injury claims.

Before joining Simpson Millar, Michael worked at Citizens Advice for eight years and was also a caseworker at Macmillan for three years.
