Professional Biography

Louise has dedicated over 20 years to specialising in Personal Injury claims. She holds a CILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law and a Level 6 Certificate in Law and Practice, with a focus on Civil Litigation. Her extensive experience spans across a broad range of Personal Injury cases, including Road Traffic Accidents, workplace accidents, and occupiers' liability claims.

In her daily work, Louise manages a variety of cases, including the Fast Track MOJ Portal, a streamlined process for handling specific Personal Injury claims quickly. She also handles more complex or higher-value cases outside of this portal. Louise focuses on employers' liability and public liability claims, using her extensive knowledge and experience to secure the best outcomes for her clients. She interacts regularly with clients, advising on case aspects such as the prospects of success regarding liability, reviews medical reports following the admission of liability, and discusses settlement offers.

Louise also negotiates settlements with Defendant Insurers and issues applications related to the claim, such as pre-action disclosure applications to compel Defendants to disclose essential documents. She is also involved in court proceedings, including Part 8 Protective Proceedings, Stage 3 Hearings, and Infant Approval Hearings, which ensure proper legal care for claims involving minors. As part of her daily role, Louise arranges medical examinations and treatments for claimants to support their recovery and confirm their claims. She meticulously prepares the Schedule of Special Damages, detailing the financial impact of the injury on the claimant, to ensure precise and fair compensation calculations.
