Julia Jamieson

Graduating from the University of Sheffield with a Bachelor of Science honours degree , Julia then went on to study at Birmingham City University  here she undertook her professional examinations; Common Professional Examination and Law Society Finals and then completed her Articles in the Southeast of England to qualify as a solicitor.

She commenced her career working in Conveyancing and Wills and Probate before deciding to specialise in Wills, Probate and Estates. Within this field, Julia has experience working with a wide variety of cases including advising on  inheritance tax, trusts and complex estates. She also has much experience acting for clients in Will preparation tailoring Wills to their particular needs and advising on incorporating trusts in Wills.

Julia has over 20 years experience working as a solicitor in both small and large Law firms including Winckworth Sherwood, Slade Legal and Pellmans. With her great communication and problem-solving skills, she has also dealt with some difficult issues and cases, but she dedicates herself to getting successful outcomes.

Julia also has previous experience with quality assurance projects as when she worked within Winckworth Sherwood LLP she was nominated to assist with Lexcel Accreditation being the first member of staff in the Oxford Office to have their work approved for this. Julia also has great management skills as within her last two roles as a private client solicitor, she contributed to building a successful team within the businesses.
