Professional Biography
Joli graduated from the University of Salford in 2018 with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons)) degree. She went on to complete her Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law, achieving a Distinction in 2020. She qualified as a Solicitor in August 2023.
Joli first joined Simpson Millar in 2018 and gained experience in Conveyancing before starting her training contract, where she then undertook seats in Family Law and Risk and Compliance. She later specialised in Medical Negligence. This experience has given her a well-rounded understanding of different legal processes, which helps her provide clear and practical advice to clients.
Joli now represents clients in a wide range of Clinical Negligence claims, supporting those who have suffered due to delays in diagnosing cancer, orthopaedic injuries, birth injuries, prescription errors, sepsis and infection claims, and fatal incidents. Her role involves reviewing medical records, obtaining expert opinions, valuing compensation due to the damage caused, and negotiating settlements on behalf of her clients. Joli works closely with medical professionals and legal experts to build strong cases and secure the best possible outcome for those affected by medical negligence.
She guides her clients through every stage of the legal process, from initial investigations to settlement, whether before or after court proceedings have been issued. Joli understands that pursuing a claim can feel overwhelming, so she ensures her clients receive compassionate, clear, and expert legal support at every step, helping them seek the answers and justice they deserve.
