Isabelle Masterson

Issy Masterson is a Paralegal in our Court of Protection Department, based in our Manchester office.

Professional Biography

Issy graduated with a 2:1 in Jurisprudence (Law) from Oxford University in 2024. Her academic background includes a focus on Medical Law and Ethics, providing her with a deep understanding of issues related to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and decision-making in the best interests of individuals. Prior to joining our Court of Protection department, Issy gained experience in the Commercial Litigation department of another law firm.

In her current role within the Health and Welfare team, Issy works closely with vulnerable clients to address complex issues such as living arrangements and care provisions. Her responsibilities include regular communication with clients to navigate their legal challenges, attending court hearings, and supporting Solicitors with various applications. Her work is crucial in safeguarding the rights and welfare of individuals who lack the capacity to make certain decisions for themselves.
