Adam Hogg

Adam Hogg is a Senior Associate Solicitor and Department Manager for our Court of Protection, Property & Affairs team, based in our London office.

Professional Biography

Adam completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) at the University of Law in 2013. Since being admitted as a Solicitor in July 2016, Adam has developed a comprehensive understanding of the Court of Protection's work. He joined Simpson Millar in May 2023, where he has since been leading the Court of Protection, Property & Affairs team with commitment and expertise.

In his day-to-day role, Adam specialises in overseeing the financial affairs of individuals who, due to their vulnerabilities, require the protection and guidance provided by the Court of Protection. His broad experience includes the establishment and administration of Personal Injury Trusts, often for recipients of multi-million-pound settlements. Adam's expertise extends to collaborating with Litigation Lawyers on Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client welfare.

Adam is particularly skilled in handling complex property and affairs proceedings. This includes contested deputyship applications and the drafting and filing of statutory wills, areas that require sensitivity and a deep understanding of clients' needs. His years of experience have equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate these challenging cases effectively.
