Simpson Millar Donates Over £2,000 to Support New Major Trauma Hospital in Salford

Law firm’s donation will help improve patient care at Salford Royal Hospital

National law firm Simpson Millar has donated £2,119.43 to NorthCare Charity to support the Major Trauma Unit at Salford Royal Hospital – part of the Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital, a new specialist facility being developed to care for patients with severe and life-threatening injuries.

The donation will help provide rapid access to specialist treatment and advanced imaging for people with complex and critical injuries across the region.

Supporting Local Communities Through Charity

NorthCare is the official charity of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, which supports more than one million patients and families each year across Salford, Bury, Oldham, and Rochdale. The charity helps local NHS hospitals and community services go above and beyond standard NHS care by funding innovative research, staff wellbeing initiatives, and enhanced equipment.

A spokesperson for Simpson Millar said: “We love supporting great causes, especially those that make a difference in our local communities. NorthCare Charity’s work is vital, and we’re honoured to play a small part in helping improve the lives of patients and families during some of their most critical moments.”

The Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital is expected to significantly improve outcomes for patients by delivering expert care quickly and efficiently when it matters most.

 

A Meaningful Impact on Trauma Care
